A Tennessee woman was charged last week in connection to the Sept. 14 accidental death of her 8-year-old grandson.
Gracie Patton Mimms, 48, allegedly left the victim, Phillip’e Woodward, and two other juveniles inside a bedroom at her Nashville home and went to “spend time with friends.”
Investigators said that there was a loaded shotgun “out and easily accessible” in the room.
