Connecticut infant dies after being left unattended in bathtub

A Connecticut child was found dead in a bathtub where they had been left unattended Sunday evening, police said.

The 7-month-old couldn’t be saved despite the efforts of emergency crews who responded to the scene at around 9 p.m. Sunday.

    “Our hearts break for the child’s family during this incredibly difficult time,” said East Haven Police Capt. Joseph M. Murgo.

    “At this time, we are withholding the identities of those involved pending further investigation.”
