Authorities in Lynwood, California are searching for a hit-and-run driver accused of killing an avid motorcyclist last week.
Elijah Long died in a hit-and-run crash after a car turned in his way as he returned from a food bank.
The crash occurred at around 9:20 a.m. at Atlantic Avenue and Arlington. A loaf of bread and a can of corn were found at the site.
“The vehicle instead of stopping to help my brother just left him there laying in the road,” the victim’s sister said.
“And we just want answers, and we want those people to come forward.”
Elijah was remembered as an avid biker at a candlelight vigil held Thursday night at the crash scene.
“He rode his motorcycle every single day. He loved to be on his bike,” the sister added.
