Albany police cruisers collide hurting 4 officers while responding to call for backup

Four Albany Police officers were hospitalized Wednesday after their two cruisers collided while responding to a call for backup.

Officers were struggling with “a combative suspect” in upstate New York when they requested backup.

The two police cruisers were heading to the scene when they collided with each other.
