Two children aged 11 and 12 were arrested and charged this week in connection to online threats made against a Spartanburg middle school.

The girl and boy have been charged with breach of the peace and student threat.

Police Major Art Littlejohn declined to specify whether the juveniles were students of Carver Middle School but said that investigators began receiving reports about the threats Sunday afternoon.

“The video, along with photos from an Instagram post, depicts an individual wearing a ski mask and brandishing firearms,” he said.
