Worker dies after being electrocuted while trimming trees in Kansas City

A tree trimmer died Friday after being electrocuted while working in the backyard of a Kansas City home, authorities said.

Paramedics and firefighters rushed to the home in the 12900 block of Connell Drive in Overland Park at about 2:14 p.m.

    Overland Park rescuers lowered the victim and tried life-saving measures before declaring the man dead at the scene.
