Authorities in Kentucky are looking for a person of interest after a freeway shooting that left seven people injured Saturday evening.

Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Gilbert Acciardo described the shooting as “sniper-like” adding that it was not a random or a road rage incident.

Authorities are looking for 32-year-old Joseph A. Couch for questioning in connection to the shooting.

They described him as “armed and dangerous” adding that he fled the freeway to London, Kentucky.

“We’re not listing him as a suspect at this point, but he probably will more than likely be a suspect before day’s end,” Acciardo said.
