A Tennessee teen collapsed and died Tuesday while jogging in the neighborhood, the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office.
15-year-old Tristen Franklin, Sycamore High School student, and cross-country runner, collapsed and died while on his normal route.
The Cheatham County School District issued a statement mourning the tragic passing.

“Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to the student’s family and friends during this difficult time,” the statement read.
“The impact of such a loss is immeasurable.”
An official cause of death is pending but temperatures surpassed 100 degrees in the area Tuesday.
