Frederick County news, Maryland news.

A Maryland couple was gunned down while sleeping in bed shortly after midnight Sunday in a hail of four dozen bullets, authorities in Fredrick County said.

33-year-old Crimea Baker and 34-year-old Sean Lange were found deceased by their children at around 7 a.m. the following morning.

“Based on the conversations with the children, it happened about 1:30 in the morning and we believe, based on what the children told us, they hid in the house until morning until they felt safe, to try to figure out what had happened,” said Fredrick County Sheriff Chuck Jenkins.
