Georgia man arrested in Louisiana after killing wife; burning & burying body in backyard

A Georgia man was apprehended at a motel in Louisiana after he allegedly admitted to his father that he had killed his wife.

Kenneth Hardin Jr., 39, was arrested Wednesday hours after he allegedly shot Carrie Hardin to death, and burned and buried her body in the Fayette County backyard.

    The murder took place after an alcohol-fueled argument. The suspect then fled to Covington, Louisiana where he was arrested.

    Hardin Jr. was charged with murder and is being held at the St. Tammany Parish Correction Center in Louisiana.
