A Florida school bus driver died Friday after he suffered a medical episode and crashed into a pall, police said.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the incident unfolded shortly after 9 a.m. at the Shops at Casey Key in Osprey.

The 59-year-old driver of the Sarasota County Schools Bus No. 1306 crashed the empty bus into three vehicles and a pole outside a Publix.
Authorities believe the man suffered a medical emergency before he drove off-road.
He was pronounced dead at an area hospital. The crash is under ongoing investigation, the FHP said.
