Texas mom arrested after forgetting to drop child off at day care; leaving her to die in hot car

A 33-year-old Texas mother was arrested after she forgot to drop her daughter at a day care leaving her to die in a scorching hot vehicle on Tuesday.

Hilda Adame left the 2-year-old girl in the backseat of her car in the parking lot of Tom Browne Middle School where she worked.

    The girl was unresponsive when Adame found her and brought her to the nurse’s office. She died shortly before 2 p.m. at Driscoll Children’s Hospital.

    Adame faces charges of injury to a child and abandoning or endangering a child causing imminent bodily injury.
