British tech tycoon Mike Lynch was among four victims recovered from the ocean Wednesday after their superyacht sank off the coast of Italy.
Lynch’s 18-year-old daughter Hannah remained unaccounted for as of Thursday.
The 59-year-old’s superyacht the Bayesian went down shortly before sunrise Monday when a powerful storm swept across the coast of Porticello, near Palermo.
Fifteen passengers were pulled alive from the wreck, including Lynch’s wife.
A massive search for the six missing passengers was launched before the bodies of Lynch; Judy and Jonathan Bloomer; Chris Morvillo, and his wife Neda Morvillo, were recovered.
Bloomer, a non-executive chair of Morgan Stanley International, and Morvillo, a Clifford Chance lawyer, were among those invited on the yacht to celebrate his acquittal of fraud charges.
Lynch, 59, was the co-founder of Britain’s leading enterprise software Autonomy.
