In an emotional swansong speech at the Democratic National Convention Monday night, President Joe Biden shed tears as he endorsed Kamala Harris and described how serving as commander-in-chief was the honor of his lifetime.

The 81-year-old wiped away his tears as daughter Ashley presented him to thousands of attendees chanting “We love Joe.”

“It’s been an honor of my lifetime. I loved the job. But I love the country more,” Biden said.

Biden admitted making “a lot of mistakes” but “I gave my best to you.”
