Lexington news, Massachusetts news.

A Massachusetts baby is dead after his mother forgot to drop him off at a daycare and left him in a roasting hot car for the entire day.

The 1-year-old boy was found unresponsive when his mother showed up to retrieve him from the Sol-Solecito daycare in Lexington Tuesday evening.

Staff sent the boy’s mother a text alerting her that he was not there at around 9 a.m. but the woman did not read the message.
