Shooting outside Milwaukee bar leaves 5 wounded: 'It happens a lot'

Police in Milwaukee are actively looking for the gunman who opened fire outside a bar on the city’s north side early Saturday hurting five people.

Officers responded to the shooting near Vienna Avenue and Richards Street just before 2 a.m. Saturday.

Five victims ranging in age from 28 to 40 years old suffered gunshot wounds and were taken to an area hospital.

  • “Well, sad to say in Milwaukee happens a lot,” a worker at a nearby business said.

    “It’s pretty it’s pretty sad. I can’t really say anything else about it. I’m just glad that nobody got killed.”
