White supremacist gang leader among 3 killed in Nevada brawl

Authorities in Nevada have identified one of the three inmates killed in a prison brawl in rural Ely this week as the leader of a white supremacist gang.

Zackaria Luz, 43, was a street-level leader of the infamous Aryan Warriors white supremacist gang.

He, Connor Brown, and a third man were killed in a brawl at Ely State Prison Tuesday morning.

    Nine other inmates suffered injuries some of whom needed to be “life-flighted out of the Ely area for medical treatment.”

    Last year, Luz was sentenced to at least eight years and six months in jail for felony racketeering and forgery.
