California girl, 6, clings to life after mauling incident involving 2 pit bulls

A California girl is clinging to life after she was mauled by two pit bulls while playing outside her grandmother’s home last weekend.

Scarlett Corona sustained life-threatening injuries including a severed main artery in her leg and several bites and cuts throughout her body.

“Scarlett was flown to a children’s trauma center and is now undergoing various surgical procedures that will be followed by months of therapy and treatments,” a GoFundMe for the girl read.

    Scarlett successfully underwent several reconstructive surgeries to repair her damaged ear and artery.

    “We remain strong for my warrior princess while she battles the odds,” the girl’s cousin added.
