Trump looked ‘vulnerable’; likely experiencing ‘survivor’s guilt’ at RNC: Doctor tells Fox News

Former president Donald Trump was still processing Saturday’s assassination attempt, appearing vulnerable and transparent during the Republican National Convention speech, a doctor told Fox News.

“When have you ever heard President Trump ever say in the past that he’s never going to repeat something?” Dr. Houman Hemmati wondered.

“This is a man of many words, who as you can tell from the rest of his speech loves to talk and loves to repeat things,”

    “I think this is one of those rare moments where you see him in a public way be very vulnerable and transparent and it shows you that he’s processing it.”

    The doctor also suggested Trump was experiencing “survivor’s guilt”, displaying slain firefighter Corey Comperatore’s uniform and kissing his helmet.

    “He said ‘I shouldn’t be here’ – That’s a sign that he thinks that bullet should have been for him, and ‘why am I alive and someone else isn’t,” Hemmati explained.
