An Ohio boy was fatally mauled by a group of dogs owned by his family, authorities said.
Jaxson Dvorak, 6, died on July 3 following the deadly mauling incident at his Lorain home.
Police said multiple dogs attacked Dvorak. The mixed-breed dogs belonged to the boy’s family.

No charges have been filed in connection to the incident that left Dvorak’s mother devastated.
“My heart is shattered. My world has collapsed. I feel like I’m in a really bad nightmare, and I’m trying to wake myself up, but it’s not working,” the grieving woman said on a fundraiser page.
The dogs were reportedly placed in the custody of the Friendship Animal Protection League in Elyria.
