A Georgia farm worker has died in a freak accident while helping repair a grain silo damaged by a tornado Tuesday morning.

The victim and two other workers were inside the grain bin when a large piece of metal used to support the damaged roof fell on his head and shoulder.

The worker died at the scene. His family had been notified, Clark said.

“He was a loyal employee, from what I understand, a great employee in just a freak accident,” he said.

“I know that company treats their employees and all like family, so I’m sure they’re kind of in a bad spot right now.”
