A suspect is dead after he fatally shot three people outside a Sharpsburg home in the early hours of Saturday, police said.
Two deceased people were discovered in the driveway of the home after Coweta County Sheriff’s deputies responded to multiple reports of a shooting at around 1 a.m.
The third victim was found deceased by the doorway of the home, authorities said.

Deputies spotted a man, presumably the shooter, running into the home. Shortly later,
they heard a gunshot.
A SWAT team entered the residence and confirmed that the suspect was deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The case is being investigated as a murder-suicide. The victims' and suspect’s identities remain unclear pending the next-of-kin’s notification.
