2 victims were ‘targeted’; shot to death at Chick-fil-A: Irving Police

Authorities in Irving are actively looking for a suspect accused of gunning down two people at a Chick-fil-A Wednesday afternoon.

Officers responded to the restaurant in the Las Colinas area at around 4 p.m. after receiving multiple reports of a shooting.

Two victims were found suffering from gunshot wounds inside the business. Officer Anthony Alexander confirmed the shooting occurred inside the restaurant.

    Police are now looking for 37-year-old Oved Bernardo Mendoza Argueta who had fled the scene after the deadly shooting.

    The gunman was last spotted driving a 1997 silver Honda four-door sedan with the Texas license plate “GVH 6205.”
