Phoenix news, Arizona news.

A Phoenix toddler was pulled out dead from a backyard pool on Saturday just hours after a similar incident involving a 1-year-old boy.

The 2-year-old girl was not breathing and unresponsive when found in the backyard pool of a home near 35th Avenue and Deer Valley Road at around 4:30 p.m.

First responders administered CPR to the girl who was then transported to the hospital in critical condition before she passed away.

It is believed the girl was in the pool for about 10 minutes before she was discovered.
