Two adults and two children were found dead inside a rural Colorado home late Tuesday.
The victims were found suffering gunshot wounds in a La Junta home, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation said.
The adults and a child were declared dead on scene while the fourth victim succumbed at a Denver-area hospital.

Preliminary investigation indicates that the victims knew each other and that the shootings were not random.
The incident is currently being investigated as a murder-suicide.
La Junta, located about 175 miles southeast of Denver, is a city of roughly 7,100 people.
