Missing mom-of-4 found deceased inside 16-ft python’s belly

A mother-of-four who went briefly missing this week was recovered dead from the belly of a 16-foot python in central Indonesia.

45-year-old Farida didn’t return to her Kalempang village home on Thursday night sparking search efforts led by her husband and other villagers.

The husband “found her belongings…which made him suspicious. The villagers then searched the area. They soon spotted a python with a large belly,” Village Head Suardi Rosi said.

    The victim was fully clothed inside the reptile that swallowed her whole.

    The gruesome death is the fifth involving a python in Indonesia since 2017.
