‘Step up and say something’: Ga. mom seeks public’s help after missing daughter’s remains found in Tennessee

The human remains found near a Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee earlier this year were identified as a missing Georgia woman adding to the mystery surrounding her disappearance.

Maury-Ange Faith Martinez, 20, vanished in unincorporated Cobb County, Georgia on August 28, 2023.

Her skeletal remains were located on January 5 in a rural area of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

    Anita Darling, Martinez’s mother, said that her daughter loved “fashion, color, and photography.”

    “I know that something happened to her. Her sisters deserve to know and I deserve to know. Step up and say something,” Darling said.
