1-year-old fatally struck in hit-and-run crash after wandering out of Laundromat

A 1-year-old Connecticut girl died Monday night after she wandered out of a Laundromat where her parents were and was struck by a car that fled the scene.

Little Camilla Elizabeth Ramire-Carcamo was with her parents at Top Kat Super Laundromat when she wandered out of the business at around 11 p.m.

Witnesses heard a loud commotion and saw the toddler lying on the roadway.

    The vehicle involved in the hit-and-run crash was located in New Haven and a person of interest has been detained for questioning.
