A Georgia woman was found shot multiple times and deceased inside a vehicle that crashed into a light pole Friday morning.
Police identified the victim as 56-year-old Sabrina Carson. She was declared dead at the scene in the 8400 block of Mall Parkway at around 7:30 a.m.
A witness told officers that a man fled from the car after it crashed; Carson’s nephew believes the man was her killer and live-in boyfriend.
“For this to happen, it’s just tragic. I’m pretty sure everyone is grieving and trying to figure it out,” Brian Johnson said.
“He lived with her. He was seen leaving with her this morning. She let him drive the car.”
Carson was, according to her nephew, “one of those people that will give you their shirt, literally, give it to you off of her back.”
“She didn’t have much, but she’ll give everything she got.”
