Flint news, Michigan news.

A Michigan toddler is dead after he fatally shot himself with a gun owned by his father’s cousin early Wednesday.

The 2-year-old suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head at around 2:45 a.m. His father initially claimed that he shot himself with an airsoft gun before detectives found the unsecured Glock 22 pistol involved in the tragic incident.

Investigators followed a blood trail to an upstairs bedroom where they discovered a pool of blood on the bed and pillows, the pistol loaded with 15 live rounds, and a bullet hole in the ceiling.
