A deadly head-on crash near Montgomery, Alabama left two people dead Sunday.
Authorities said Jerad E. Swartz, a 32-year-old Virginia resident, was driving a 2006 Scion XB when he collided with a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu at around 11:30 p.m.
The collision occurred on State Route 110, roughly five miles east of Montgomery.

The victims were Swartz and 31-year-old Jalisa L. Smart-Haynes who was a passenger in the Malibu.
A third victim sustained injuries and was rushed to Baptist Medical Center South.
State troopers were at the scene of the crash as they investigated a possible cause.
