Head-on crash leaves 2 dead; 1 injured in Alabama

A deadly head-on crash near Montgomery, Alabama left two people dead Sunday.

Authorities said Jerad E. Swartz, a 32-year-old Virginia resident, was driving a 2006 Scion XB when he collided with a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu at around 11:30 p.m.

The collision occurred on State Route 110, roughly five miles east of Montgomery.

    A third victim sustained injuries and was rushed to Baptist Medical Center South.
