Ohio woman arrested after adopted autistic son dies from starvation, chained to cot

An Ohio woman is behind bars over the starvation death of her teen autistic son earlier this year.

Tamara Moore, 52, was charged with murder and endangering children while police continue looking for her boyfriend, William Turnage, 58, over the death of Moore’s adopted son.

Prosecutors said that when the 16-year-old boy was found dead on February 6, he had no food at all in his digestive tract. He also was chained to a cot.

    Police are asking anyone with information on Turnage’s whereabouts to call the Springfield Township Police Department at 513-729-1300.

    Turnage is wanted on charges of murder, endangering children, involuntary manslaughter, and failure to report a crime or knowledge of a death.
