Grandparent of slain Tennessee toddler charged with murder, abuse

A Tennessee couple is facing murder and abuse charges over the death of their 3-year-old grandson the day after Christmas last year.

Carson Brasher, 3, was described as a child “with infectious love and radiant spirit” who “brought smiles to everyone’s faces.”

His grandparents, Jeff and Amy Brasher, were arrested on March 29 in connection to his death.

    “I just want justice for my son,” Carson’s mother Kimberly Jones said. “This is out of Hardin County and these people are very well-known people and I just don’t want the fact that because every-body knows them, that they’re gonna be on their side and be like ‘no they didn’t do this, they would never do this,”

    “I don’t want that because this is real. I’m, like, living a horror movie.”
