Toddler drowns in watering hole for cattle after walking off Alabama home

An Alabama toddler was found dead in a watering hole for cattle near his Clay County home Monday evening.

The 3-year-old was reported missing at around 5:50 p.m. after wandering away from his family home.

  • Police launched a search for the missing toddler inside the property and in the surrounding areas before locating the child in a small pond near his home.

    The boy was identified as 3-year-old Kyren Grey Andrews. His mother was reportedly caring for another child when he went missing.

    The tragic drowning is under investigation. A fundraiser for the family was set up to help with funeral costs.
