Authorities in Cincinnati, Ohio are looking for two suspects after a 21-year-old college student was fatally shot during a carjacking early Saturday.
21-year-old Benjamin Addison was gunned down at around 2:15 a.m. in the 200 block of Highland Avenue while hanging out with friends.
Addison went back to his car to check the headlights and found two strangers inside the vehicle.
Witnesses said Addison was shot after he confronted the two strangers who then ran away from the scene; Addison’s friends called the police and his parents were then alerted.
“I said, ‘Is he hurt?’ and she said he’s gone,” said the victim’s mother. “I just, I lost it.”
“This is a nightmare. I kept thinking, any minute I’m just going to wake up and think, this is a horrible dream.”
