9 dead after semi-truck crashes into passenger van at Wisconsin intersection

Authorities in Clark County, Wisconsin confirmed that nine people have perished in a crash involving a semi-truck and a passenger van Friday.

The tragic collision occurred when a semi-truck traveling east on Highway 95 crashed into a van driving north on County Highway J at the intersection of Highway J at around 8 a.m.

    A passenger of the van survived the horrific accident and was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

    “Our hearts and prayers go out to the families and loved ones of all those involved as well as the first responders who worked quickly to provide support at the scene,” Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers said.
