52-year-old Pennsylvania man arrested in death of pregnant Amish woman

Pennsylvania State Police announced Saturday the arrest of a 52-year-old man in connection to the murder of an Amish woman earlier this week.

Shawn Cranston, from Corry, Pennsylvania, was arrested after an “exhaustive” five-day probe and charged with murder over Rebekah Byler’s death.

The 23-year-old mother was six months pregnant when she was gunned down inside her Spartanburg home early Monday.

    Cranston was charged with criminal homicide, criminal homicide of an unborn child, burglary, and criminal trespass.

    “I’m someone’s worst nightmare if they mess with me and mine,” Cranston’s Facebook bio reportedly reads.
