Alaska teen, 16, accused of opening fire inside residence killing 2 people

An Alaska teen was charged as an adult in connection to a deadly shooting that left two people dead and two injured Sunday night.

Officers responded to a residence in the small community of Point Hope at around 11:30 p.m. Sunday over reports of a shooting.

Three men and a woman were found inside the residence suffering gunshot wounds; one man and the woman were pronounced dead at the scene.

    Minutes later, the teenager was brought to the Point Hope police headquarters by his father.

    The 16-year-old was charged Tuesday with two counts of first-degree murder and attempted murder.
