Authorities in California have arrested a suspected gunman accused of opening fire inside a dental office Thursday afternoon killing a man and wounding two others.
29-year-old Mohammed Abdulkareem was captured at around 10 p.m. following a manhunt for the fatal shooting at a dental office on North Magnolia Avenue in El Cajon.
“The suspect vehicle has been located by a good Samaritan at Sixth Ave & Quince St. just west of Balboa Park. SDPD officers also located a Glock handgun case on the floorboard of the passenger seat.”
Officers responded to the scene while the shooting was still ongoing. They performed lifesaving measures on the three victims outside the office.
It was not immediately clear whether the shooting was targeted and whether Abdulkareem knew any of his victims.
