A Cook County, Illinois judge has stripped former president Donald Trump from the state Republican primary ballots slated for March 19.

Illinois became the third state to kick Trump off the ballot after Colorado and Maine due to his alleged role in the January 6, 2021 events.

Judge Tracie Porter sided with voters who suggested Trump should be removed from the state primary ballot and the November 5 general election ballot.
