A South Carolina boy is recovering from around 60 bite wounds after a vicious dog attack on his way to a bus stop Wednesday morning.

Clifton Police said the 11-year-old was attacked by “four big dogs” near his home. They commended a neighbor who intervened and scared away the animals.

“He was laying on his stomach, and clearly the back of his leg is eaten off,” the neighbor said.
