Authorities in Saline County, Arkansas have charged a 15-year-old boy as an adult with murder after three people were found shot and killed inside a burning Traskwood residence last weekend.
Deputies discovered the bodies Saturday afternoon upon responding to a report of a house fire on Pryor Dr., police said.
The victims were identified as Jacob Martin Sr., 47; Dara Martin, 53; and Aleah Martin, 16.
The juvenile suspect was charged with capital murder, arson, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with physical evidence after he was questioned by investigators.
The relationship between the suspect and victims remains unclear but he and the deceased girl were both students at the Glen Rose School District.
“Our school and community families are saddened about the recent tragic events,” Superintendent Tim Holicer said
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.”
