Grabill news, Indiana news.

An Indiana man is behind bars facing murder charges after he admitted to stabbing his girlfriend to death when a dispute over how he cut onions turned “very aggressive”.

60-year-old Charles Michael Calvert called 911 at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday to say that he stabbed Marsha Linsky after she had “come at him with a knife” and become “very verbal.”

During questioning, Calvert claimed Linsky was angry that he didn’t cut the onions correctly and shoved a slow cooker towards him before attacking him with a knife.

The man also admitted that he initially tried to stage the crime scene. Investigators at the scene couldn’t find any chopped onions but only a peel.

They also found evidence that Calvert showered himself and called his father before calling 911.
