Authorities in Austin, Texas announced this week that yet another body was recovered from Lady Bird Lake where five men were found dead within a few months last year.
The decedent’s identity, age, gender, and cause of death remain unclear after the grim discovery of a body was made at around 1:30 p.m. about 20 feet on the north side of Lady Bird Lake.

It is the sixth human body to be recovered from the notorious lake since January 2023.
The deaths raised the community’s suspicions about the existence of a serial killer targeting and drugging men in the city’s downtown hotspots.
Four additional victims have been pulled from the lake in 2022 but the investigation has since been closed.
