Police investigating a 911 call discovered the dead bodies of three people inside a home in the Minneapolis suburb of Coon Rapids Friday.
Dispatchers received a call from an open line with only “sounds of a disturbance in the background” at around 12:30 p.m.
Officers responded to the address and found three deceased people, two males and a female, inside the home which is in the vicinity of a hotel.
Two juveniles were found unharmed in the home; the victims’ identities and cause of death were not immediately known.
A spokesperson for the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office declined to specify whether the incident was a murder-suicide or triple homicide citing an ongoing investigation.
“If they know anything, please give us a call, give a non-emergency dispatch a call. Always be vigilant and alert,” the spokesperson said.
A suspect was reportedly taken into custody in connection to the incident later Friday.
