A California mom is facing murder charges after she allegedly killed her infant daughter on Saturday.
30-year-old Jazmin Johnson was charged with premeditated murder and assault after the lifeless body of her 4-month-old baby was discovered inside her Rocklin home shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday.
First responders tried life-saving measures on the baby before declaring her dead at the scene.
Police were called to Johnson’s home on Friday evening after neighbors reported hearing screams and spotting the woman acting erratically.
Law enforcement said at the time that the baby was safe and facing no immediate danger.
