Allegheny County news, Pennsylvania news.

A Pennsylvania mother was arrested on homicide charges after she allegedly beat her 3-month-old son to death and blamed the murder on her 3-year-old daughter.

26-year-old Alisha Parker allegedly told detectives after they found her deceased son Sunday that her older child harmed her brother over jealousy.

“If there’s anything that happened out of the ordinary, my 3-year-old child did it and ya’ll need to do something about that,” Parker said.

Parker’s cousin who lived at the same home discovered the victim “stiff to the touch and purple in color” next to his sleeping sister upon returning from work at around 1 a.m.

The woman reported that Parker was drunk and vomiting giving her a “bad feeling” about the children’s safety.

Parker was arrested after an autopsy determined the victim’s wounds “were inflicted by an adult.”
