President Joe Biden declared Donald Trump the Republican Presidential nominee Tuesday after his bitter rival secured victory in New Hampshire.
“It’s clear that Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee,” Biden said in a statement.
“And my message to the country is the stakes could not be higher. Our Democracy. Our personal freedoms – from the right to choose to the right to vote…all are at stake.”
Trump won the New Hampshire primary on Tuesday by a lesser-than-predicted margin making it almost impossible for Nikki Haley to win the race.
“Donald Trump won Iowa with a historic margin. He’s now won in the New Hampshire,” former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski said.
“So I don’t understand how Nikki Haley continues to stay in the race and say she’s doing it for the good of the party. It’s time to unite behind the clear front runner.”
