A Tennessee inmate turned himself in to authorities less than an hour after successfully fleeing from a Memphis jail.
20-year-old Demarkus K. Davis was facing two counts of rape of a child in connection to a June 20203 incident in Shelby County, Tennessee.

Davis flagged down a passer-by asking they call 911 so he could be brought back to jail.
Now he faces an additional count of escape.
