A new ABC News/ Ipsos poll showed Donald Trump leading his opponents and President Biden’s approval dropping to a new low as the 2024 primary season kicks off.
Former President Donald Trump is well placed among his Republican rivals with the Iowa caucuses approaching: seven in 10 Republican-aligned voters are favoring him for the presidential nomination.

About 72% of Republican adults said they would be satisfied with Trump as the nominee. 61 percent support Ron DeSantis while 48 percent favor Nikki Haley.
On the other side, Democratic-leaning adults showed little satisfaction with Biden as presidential nominee with an approval rating of 57 percent.
